Air India Express is a low-cost airline that offers convenient connectivity to short and medium-haul international routes in the Gulf and Southeast Asia at a reasonable charge. The airline's network covers over 33 destinations, including Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Kuwait, Muscat, Riyadh, Dammam, Doha, and Bahrain, with over 649 services per week to the Gulf destinations. Customers can avail of low-cost, value-for-money tickets to these destinations. The airline offers a maximum of nine passengers in a single booking, covering both adults and children. Group bookings have varying terms from time to time. Customers can book tickets from the airline's website, over the counter from any of the airline's airport or city offices, or from approved travel agents. Once payment is successfully made, customers receive a copy of the receipt with payment details at their registered email ID. Air India Express issues Itinerary Receipts (ITRs) with payment details instead of regular tickets, which customers receive via registered email ID. However, if customers book through an agency or airline office, the ITR will be handed over to them directly. The airline accepts payment via credit card, debit card, or net banking for online booking. Customers can use cash or credit/debit card if they book tickets from the airport office or pay via credit/debit cards and PayZapp if they book through the 24x7 contact center of Air India Express. The airline's change in reservation policy allows customers to change their reservations via the 'Manage my Booking' option on the website, through the travel agent, or by getting in touch with the call center until 12 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight. If the new fare is more than the earlier ticketed fare, the customer should pay the difference in fare. On the other hand, if the new fare is less than the earlier fare, the difference in the amount will not be refunded. Cancellation should initiate at least 12 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight. The airline's refund policy includes lost baggage refund and cancellation refund. If the airline fails to track the delayed baggage even after 21 days from the date of Property Irregularity Report, that baggage will be counted as lost, and the airline is accountable for the compensation. The compensation claim will be processed per kilo of checked-in baggage as per the company policy. If customers have purchased their ticket on a refundable fare, the refund will be initiated as per the cancellation and refund rules
